Idea Foundry creates jobs in the Pittsburgh region by supporting innovation-based businesses through its Impact Innovations Programs as well as immigrant- and minority-run businesses through its Equitable Entrepreneurship Program. Its investment vehicles and industry expertise allows entrepreneurs to develop and scale ideas into enterprises.

Fostering connections across the globe widens perspectives, increases creativity and collaboration, and enables local innovation to address global challenges. This Week @ IF: Building Bridges in Chile

For the last few months, Idea Foundry has been developing a new program to support innovation collaboration and transfer between Chile and Pittsburgh, with support from the U.S. Embassy in Chile. In April 2019, 11 young Chilean entrepreneurs, innovators, and professionals, will travel to Pittsburgh for Idea Foundry's first Innovation Bridge Program.
